Scitech

Scitech is an educational and engaging science centre conveniently located in the heart of Perth on Sutherland Street.

Scitech's mission is to increase awareness, interest, capability and participation by all Western Australians in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

As a not-for-profit organisation, funding for the City West centre comes mostly from generous government grants, corporate partnerships and admission and membership fees.

Scitech is also one of the biggest professional learning providers in the state, delivering an extensive program to teachers every year. It also boasts an award-winning Outreach program with its presenters travelling to some of the most remote communities and schools in WA to deliver exciting, hands-on science shows and experiments to eager audiences.

Scitech Planetarium's mega 180-degree dome with surround sound and digital projection is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Relax into your reclined seat and immerse yourself in a symphony for the senses.

Our world-class Planetarium in Perth features a rotating schedule of events consisting of:

an immersive, interactive, expert-led live show

a professionally produced full-dome show, updated routinely.
