Earning the reputation as one of Perths gigging capitals, Amplifier is a must attend for live original music lovers. With its brutally loud sound system conquered by bands on a regular basis and accompanied by intoxicating raw original energy, this place is the stuff off music kings. Some of the memorable acts to have graced its stage have included Eskimo Joe, Friendly Fires, Klaxons, Art vs. Science, Something with Numbers and Dukes of Windsor.
The main bar, located only a few metres from the stage, is nicely decked out with marble accompanied with stylish lighting and a few strategically placed long leather couches. To catch your breath, a much needed large outdoor beer garden meets you just right of the stage. This comes fully equipped with a huge bar area; plenty of chill-out corners and mood lighting, all topped off with a pool table and highly addictive arcade games from yesteryears.
