A P&C Fundraising initiative for Mount Claremont Primary School

The Mt Claremont Farmers Market is predominately a fresh produce market that provides an opportunity for farmers food producers and chefs to sell farm-origin and associated gourmet food products directly to their customers.

The Market now has up to 55 stalls each week and is governed by a Charter that ensures high quality predominantly grower direct produce. The range of produce includes fruits vegetables and herbs baked goods artisan pantry items meat poultry seafood and pastured eggs. They have a selection of hot food and drink stalls as well as stalls selling natural body and cleaning products handmade homewares and plants and flowers.

The Market is successfully run by the Mount Claremont Primary School P&C and all profits are used for the benefit of the children at the school. The market operates every Saturday morning - rain hail or shine - with the exception of one or two Saturdays after Christmas.

Trading hours are 7.30am - 11.30am and our Market Coordinator oversees the running of the Market.

Parking is available for over 350 cars for a voluntary gold coin donation. These proceeds are used to maintain the school grounds and are also regularly donated to charities and local community groups.

The Market enjoys a strong link with the school community. The participation by a large number of parent and student volunteers fosters positive community values both at the school and in the local community.

Enjoy espresso coffees freshly squeezed juices French pastries sausage sizzles crepes and bacon and eggs whilst grabbing your grower direct fruit and veggies fish meats poultry breads and dairy products. There are also fantastic local olive oils and condiments to choose from.
