Dolphin Theatre |
Primarily used for University theatre productions, the Dolphin is available for commercial hire and among the notable acts that have played the Dolphin are Chamber Made Opera, William Yang and Lenny Henry.
With a fly-tower and dance floor the Dolphin Theatre can present a wide variety of performances. Dressing room facilities can accommodate a cast of 28.
University Theatres gratefully acknowledges a generous grant from the Alumni Annual Fund which has equipped the Dolphin Theatre in 2014 with a state-of-the-art lighting control system.

Parking on campus is free after 5pm, though it can get busy. The closest car park with access bays is Car Park 1. You can get more information here.
Access to the venue entry is via two steps or a gently sloping ramp. The entry foyer leads through to the auditorium.There are no steps into the theatre, but the seats are raked. Wheelchairs are located in two side galleries at ground floor level. Seating with removable armrests is also available. There is no hearing loop.
