Winter: Sunday May to September 7.30am - 12pm
You'll find handmade goods and local crafts as well as new second-hand and preloved items at Rockingham's longest standing markets. You can also shop for quality fresh meats fruits and vegetables or pick up a Sunday morning coffee to go. The $1 entry fee is donated to community projects.
The Rockingham Rotary Market is operated by The Rotary Club of Rockingham Inc. It has been our regions go to markets on a Sunday morning since before 1990.
During spring/summer it is not unusual to have an attendance of around 3000 potential buyers.
We have over 100 bays that sell a huge range of items and the stallholders will be vying for your attention.
Around 65% of those are permanent stall holders selling clothes books shoes DVDs dog items cakes plants jewelry signs candles fruit and vegetables tools and more...... so much more.
We also allocate space for casual stall holders that come to sell their bric-a-brac much like you'd find at a garage sale only we have around 45 garage sales in one place so you'll certainly find a bargain.
100% of all the money raised from the markets goes back to our community and our projects via grants and donations which are administered by a community committee. To date we have donated many hundreds of thousands of dollars to worthy recipients.
The event is entirely organised and operated by our Rotary Members who are all volunteers no one is paid for operating our markets that's what real community spirit is all about.
We have ice cream trucks coffee vans and buskers and of course the market obligatory an awesome sausage sizzle marquee which is operated by a different group each month. That is another way we give back; these groups can make thousands in fund raising.
Any food stall enquiries need to contact the Rockingham City Council to apply for a Rockingham City Council approved kitchen certificate and a Rockingham City Council market stallholder's permit prior to contacting us.
Entry Fee
Buyers: Gold Coin donation.
Sellers: $12.50 per bay plus $5 for insurance if the seller doesn't have their own
New vendors also require market stallholder public liability insurance with a copy supplied to the market via email at rotaryrockinghammarket@gmail.com
For all bookings please call or text Michele on 0481 126 243 with your name bay requirements and what you intend to sell. All bays are assigned on a Friday or Saturday.
