Explore the depths of Geographe Bay and witness unbelievable marine life at the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory. Descend 8 metres below the ocean to discover more than 300 different marine species and the country’s biggest artificial reef without getting wet.

Busselton Jetty, one of WA’s top tourism attractions, is home to 1 of only 6 underwater observatories in the world. So, if you’re looking for things to do in Busselton or things to do in Margaret River, this is a stop you can’t go past!

As you descend deeper beneath the waves, a world of natural wonders unfolds below the Jetty. Inside the 9.5-metre diameter observation chamber, 11 viewing windows offer unique vantage points to observe the piles that create Australia’s largest artificial reef. Here you will learn about the vibrant forest of tropical and sub-tropical corals, sponges, fish, and fascinating invertebrates that live in Geographe Bay.

The Underwater Observatory hosts a variety of tours and activities all year-round, offering something for everyone. Entry to the observatory is only available with a tour booking. We have options to suit all visitors, varying in time and price. Options include:
